TAMARINDO
Tamarindo is a great destination for your fishing vacation. One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Guanacaste Province on Costa Rica’s Northwest Pacific coast, Tamarindo offers guests a wide variety of lodging, restaurants and tours. It’s one of the most beautiful and fun beaches in the country.
Getting to and from Tamarindo is quick and easy. The Liberia international airport (LIR) is an hour away and Tamarindo has its own local airport for in-country flights. Car and golf cart rentals are available in town.

Weather Conditions
Traditionally, in April through October the seas are calm and it may rain in the afternoon. Our run time is short as the billfish can often be found close to Tamarindo. November and December sees the transition from rainy season to dry season. Late December through March is the windy season and the boats run up to an hour to the south to get to the good bill fishing out of the wind.
The weather does not affect the fishing! Every month has spectacular days and slow days no matter what the weather does.
